Our Mission Statement

Sausalito Environmental Action (SEA) identifies issues that affect Sausalito's environment and supports actions that protect and enhance Sausalito's unique and distinctive qualities.  We advocate:

* controlled growth consistent with Sausalito's character and limited capacity
* maintenance and enhancement of resident-friendly amenities
* manageable traffic flow through town
* preservation of open-water views
* protection of our local parks
* retention of maritime services and a working waterfront
* preservation of Sausalito's historic buildings

Former columnist publishes book

Marinscope Staff Jennifer Gennari of Sausalito, a former columnist for Marinscope Newspapers, has published ?My Mixed-Up, Berry Blue Summer? Lifejacket and boating safety day May 19

Marinscope Staff On Sat., May 19, at 10 a.m., the North America National Safe Boating Week kicks off in Sausalito. A ?Ready, Set, Wear It! Life Jacket World Record Day? group photo contest of buoyant lifejacket wear and deployment of inflatables takes place at 10 a.m. sharp at West Marine, 295 Harbor Drive, Sausalito.
